Live international benchmark prices (COMEX / NYMEX / ICE), server-fetched and cached; they refresh here every few seconds and may be delayed by the exchange. ₹ values are the international price converted at USD/INR (94.8) — they exclude Indian import duty, GST and MCX basis, so they are not MCX or retail quotes. We don't publish MCX contract prices (Gold Petal, Crude Oil Mini, etc.) because there is no free, redistributable MCX feed. Nothing here is investment advice.
What these prices are
These are the global benchmark futures prices used to price physical commodities worldwide. The ₹ figure next to each is that same international price converted at the day’s USD/INR rate — it is not an MCX or a mandi price, because those add Indian import duty, GST, freight and local demand on top.
Why we don’t show MCX contract prices
Contracts like Gold Petal, Gold Guinea, Crude Oil Mini and Silver Micro trade on India’s MCX. There is no free, redistributable live MCX data feed, and publishing made-up numbers would be worse than publishing none. For live MCX quotes, use your broker terminal or the MCX website.
FAQ
Are these prices real-time?
They are live exchange benchmark prices, fetched server-side and cached. Futures data can be delayed a few minutes by the exchange, and the page updates itself roughly every 20 seconds.
How is the rupee value calculated?
International price × the current USD/INR rate, adjusted for the contract’s unit (per 10g for gold and platinum, per kg for silver and base metals, per barrel for crude). No duty or GST is added.
Which commodity is the day’s biggest mover?
The banner at the top of the table always shows the commodity with the largest percentage move since the previous close.
